Flyers Beat Buffalo, Break 10 Game Winless Streak

In a ten minute period in the first period, the Flyers gave up 3 consecutive goals to the Sabres. During the first 15 minutes of the game, they let Buffalo dictate the game. However, after the third Sabres’ goal, the Flyers decided to start playing.

Flyers Acquire Vaclav Prospal

Following tonight’s game against the Buffalo Sabres, it was announced the Flyers had made a trade. They have acquired Vaclav Prospal from the Tampa Bay Lightning for Alexandre Picard and a draft pick. In 62 games this season, Prospal has 29 goals and 57 points.

That’s what has been heard echoing around NHL rinks for the past few months. Well, he is coming back to the NHL. TSN is reporting that the Colorado Avalanche have signed Peter Forsberg to play for the rest of the season.
