When it rains, it pours, so the bad news is just continuing to flow in. The Flyers website has updated the status of Derian Hatcher and RJ Umberger.
Hatcher was injured in Saturday’s game against the Boston Bruins while blocking a shot. He suffered a fractured right tibia and will be out for the rest of the season.
Umberger was hurt the following day against Pittsburgh. He sprained his MCL and is expected to miss 2 weeks. That places his return with 3 games left to play in the season.
