During the second period of Saturday’s game with the Washington Capitals, Mike Knuble injured his hamstring and will be out for the rest of the first round. Today, he addressed the injury with the media.
There has been no official word from the Flyers yet on how the roster will be adjusted for Monday night’s game 6. Some speculation has Steve Downie returning to the lineup to play on Jeff Carter’s line in place of Knuble. You could also see Riley Cote play on the fourth line, with Patrick Thoresen moving back to Mike Richard’s line and RJ Umberger moving from Richard’s line to Knuble’s spot, being paired with Jeff Carter and Scottie Upshall.
Here is the video of Knuble with the media.
