Flyers On Comcast Sportsnet’s Daily News Live

Yesterday, Daily New Live on Comcast Sportsnet had a Flyers special from 5:30 to 6:30 on the program that runs from 5:00 to 6:30. The guests included the Flyers TV crew of Jim Jackson, Steve Coates, and Keith Jones, players Braydon Coburn and Mike Knuble, Coach John Stevens and GM Paul Holmgren. The topics of conversation ranged from the improvement the Flyers saw this year, the 10 game losing streak late in the year, the leadership on the team and the free agency situation.

Really interesting and fun to watch. You can tell that everyone is ready to take a short vacation then get back to work preparing for next season. Keith Jones was absolutely hysterical. He is the perfect combination of humor and hockey knowledge. I’m glad the Flyers were able to keep him in the organization. I just started reading his book, Jonesy: Put Your Head Down and Skate: The Improbable Career of Keith Jones. Great read so far. I’ll write more about it when I finish it.
