This past Monday night was Philadelphia Flyers night at the Phillies game. Martin Biron threw out the first pitch and was joined on the mound by teammates Kimmo Timonen, Braydon Coburn, Jason Smith, Mike Knuble and Coach John Stevens.
The Delta Dental Ice Team and the Dancing Guy, Shawny Hill, were also there.
It was a great game and a great win by the Phillies. My brother and I wore our orange t-shirts and we were in a section with a bunch of fellow Flyers fans. Many of us in the section started talking Stanley Cup finals and continuously checking the score on our phones, hoping to see the Red Wings bring an end to NBC’s darling Penguins.
Yesterday, the Flyers posted a video highlighting Biron’s night at Citizen’s Bank Park.
