Just a few days ago, the Delaware County Daily Times was discussing how the Flyers and Restricted Free Agent - To Be Jeff Carter were far apart in negotiations. Well, the rumors coming out of Canada are saying that Carter and the Flyers have gotten a deal done.
Sources are telling Sportsnet that Carter has agreed to a three-year deal with the Philadelphia Flyers that is believed to pay him no less than $15 million.
The Flyers have yet to formally announce anything, but if this turns out to be true, that means the Flyers have gotten 1 of their three big Restricted Free Agents locked up before July 1st.
