Flyers Send Triston Grant To Nashville For Janne Niskala

Janne Niskala Traded To FlyersThe Flyers continued to build their defensive depth today by aquirring Janne Niskala from the Nashville Predators in exchange for forward Triston Grant and a seventh round pick in next year’s draft. Niskala is a 6′0″, 200-pound defenseman that played in 80 regular season games for the Predator’s AHL affiliate Milwaukee Admirals, recording 19 goals, 44 points and 81 penalty minutes. Niskala was a fifth round draft pick by Nashville in 2004.
