The Detroit Red Wings picked right back up where they left off in game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. From the opening face-off to the final buzzer, the Red Wings picked apart the Pittsburgh Penguins every step of the way. It wasn’t until 12 minutes into the first period, on a power play, that the Penguins were able to get their first shot on Detroit netminder Chris Osgood.

Stanley Cup Finals Schedule Announced

With the Detroit Red Wings soundly beating the Dallas Stars last night, the Pittsburgh Penguins now know who their dance partner will be in the Stanley Cup Finals. This is the first round this year that the Penguins will not have home ice advantage. Here is what the schedule looks like.

The Flyers Could Get Timonen and Coburn Back For Game 5
